Play that game every month! Granted there are times where I do eat more than I should when I know it is coming, but usually within 3-5 days of it ending I'm back down to normal. Don't stress about it and don't use it as an excuse to let yourself get off track

There's no real solution, it's just hormonal water retention and it has nothing to do with your ongoing fat loss. If you wait until about a week after the "high point" passes, you'll probably be seeing unusually low numbers on your scale due to all the water leaving your body again.

Suggestion: wait a week.

Our bodies retain water, get bloated, get constipated or loose, and several other things during that time of the month. Even thin people with a heathy lifestyle deal with this, so just be patient. It can be disconcerting, but it's not a problem.

Awkward question for the ladies--Normally I have no problem losing a few pounds to recover after an indulgent weekend, but when my period is coming, I find my weight just won't go below a certain number, no matter what I eat or how I exercise. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
