Since I started tracking the food I eat, I have noticed that I was not eating enough calories and carbs, and that I was right on track with the amount of protein and fat I needed. I also realized better (and healthier) ways to consume more calories, and liked the fact that it didn't seem like I was starving myself or sacrificing taste. I was really surprised to see the amount I was "allowed" according to SparkPeople as well.
