If you have cravings, then chocolate is your " drug of choice ". A choice implies that you could choose not to eat it. Since it has no nutritional benefit, eating it only at special occasions would be a better choice.

If I substituted meth for chocolate, and asked for recipes, no one would help me out. If you can't control the desire for a food, or have cravings for it, you should treat it by the same guidelines as meth.. avoid it. If you like chocolate at special occasions, 2-4 times a year, then enjoy it at those times, but if it is necessary to eat it daily, or even weekly, you have a problem, and should probably never have it.

The only thing I would suggest is trying dark chocolate over milk chocolate, but if cravings happens, abstinence is the best option. That sucks, but it is the truth.

So are you looking for low calorie, chocolate flavored desserts.
Or do you need to go "cold turkey" to get the cravings under control??

Browse sparkrecipes.com for recipe ideas. Pinterest has lots of ideas too. I love chocolate as well. I'm just very careful on how much I eat. :)

Do you have any history of sleep disorder or difficulty sleeping or falling asleep?

I've found that one small square of *good* dark chocolate is all I need to satisfy the craving. Lots of chocolate flavor in a very small (and relatively calorie light) package.
