Thank you, Becky. When I checked in yesterday it said I couldn't reach my goal weight by the time that had been set (I had let the site choose the goal for me when I signed up at SP) so I changed my goal weight from 142 (the sites choice) to 155, which I think would look better on me. I also changed the goal date from April to May. That must have been what changed my target goal. As soon as I read your words about changing something I went back and changed my goal weight back to 142 and just extended the date a couple more months. Problem solved!
When I started out here a couple of months ago at 188 lbs. my base goal was 1250 to 1500 calories per day, when I entered my weight yesterday (I'm down 12 pounds!) it said that my calorie count might change but instead of going down, my base goal is now 1430 to 1780. Is this right? I'm stuffed and I still have calories to go to get into my target range.
