The first thing for me it was the classic American portion distortion. :(
Second was junk food calories, fats and carbs. I mean, yeah..I knew it wasn't the best food (hence the name), but it wasn't until I really started to look at labels (and using my tracker) that I really realized just how little bits of that crap food (not even to mention the ingredients) impacted my weight in a negative way.
I used to think "Clean Eating" was devouring cupcakes while mopping the floor.
