HELLO Yes I will do this ...although I started yesterday and went over my calories but I did work out for 30 min yesterday . I will try to stick between 1300-1500 calories plus do my low impact workout ..see if that gives me any results.. What should I be looking for.
I think it is time for you to experiment a little. Measure all your foods. Enter your foods and beverages into your nutrition tracker. Stick with 1300-1500 calories daily. Are you able to get back into your exercise routine?
I have often wondered this myself acutally. I seem to be losing weight but I feel like I am taking in too many calories to do so when they add my calories from working out onto my nutrition for the day. It makes me nervous for some reason even though it's just a food tracker.
It appears that you want to lose about 4-5 pounds? I am guessing that your calorie range is 1200-1550? (especially since you are doing little exercise currently)?
Experiment a little within the range. Hon in on the amount that brings about a 1/4 to 1/2 pound weekly weight loss for you. I imagine it will be about 1300-1400? How old are you? what is your daily activity?
www.sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrition_art icles.asp?id=1940 this is how your ranges are calculated. you should figure out what your maintenance would be, and then you should be eating probably no more than 250 cals less than that since you have so little weight to lose. at your size, you do need to pay special attention to working out and not, especially if you work out a good deal when you do work out. if you aren't consistent with it, then it may be better to set up your tracker with no exercise and simply eat back the calories your burn through workouts to maintain that deficit.
