Just looking at a little info online, this would probably be an OK during- or post-workout drink for extreme athletes, e.g. marathoners, competitive swimmers, etc., who have depleted their glycogen (glucose?) stores and legitimately need a quick sugar rush to keep going. If by "hard cardio workout" you mean swimming laps for 4 hours or an all-day hike or an Iron Man, then by all means.
Otherwise I'm afraid this sounds like a waste of your money and liable to encourage diabetes.
Some great post-workout drinks and snacks: A beer (seriously, I read this, LOL), a smoothie with some fruit and yogurt, and apple with peanut butter, cherry tomatoes and cream cheese, ants on a log, pita and hummus... and those won't leave you dying for more sugar in an hour.
