You could try online auction sites such as Ebay, search for "weight watcher vintage" - and see what pops up. You might be able to actually find old program materials that way.

Though - that seems like a bit of a waste of time/money/effort, when the information is so easily available online. For example, answers to most of your questions (how many servings of... what is a serving size) can be found right here on Spark, in this little article! www.sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrition_art

Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

That's a pretty daunting endeavor!
As far as nutritional values that varies for every item so you would have to enter them on your nutritional tracker.
Why not follow a spark plan or use the USDA recommendations to create your own?

Hi ,
Just coming back on board. Ideally I'd like the old (1970's) weight watchers plan, but can't find it. It was so simple and effective (sigh). What I need to re-construct for myself is:

For each of: Protein - Dairy - Fats - Breads/Grains - Veggies - Fruits
What is a portion size for each?
What are the nutrition values for each?
How many portions per day are recommended?
What foods for each category are acceptable?

Anyone know where I can find this info?

I live alone and do not cook extensively - grilling a piece of meat is about it, and I can't eat any spicy foods so I'm limited. I don't get bored with food easily so I can eat the same things almost every day which helps.
My big downfall is the grazing after dinner. Sweets and fats are my favorite grazing substances.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Pam
