I found a printable weekly menu on picklebums (it's a blog/website). If you google picklebums meal plan it should come up. Anyway, I print one out every week and fill up the dinners with what we are having this week and where the recipe is located. I use the lunch for what I am making my son for lunch and then there are breakfast spots and extras too.

It really works for us and it has made life sooooo much easier!

Yes, and I love the mix and match. Only problem is, I would like to plan in advance and have it to look at and just check off the food as I finish a meal to save time and to keep me from wondering, "hmmm, what looks go to eat now?' I don't think this is something that can be done, but I guess I can keep doing what I am doing now, planning in a notebook or a notecard and sticking on fridge. I'm just bad at looking at paper and much better at going to the sparkpeople site.

Spark Coach wants me to plan my meals in advance...which I like. I know I can choose for Sparkpeople to come up with meal plans and they show up in my tracker in a lighter hue until I eat those foods and then they show up as eaten. Is there a way to make my own meal plans prior to eating the foods. I usually don't like the meal plans chosen for me...I try and eat based on what is on sale or foods that I already have or can incorporate into my family's meals.

Any thoughts?
