We got a Cuisinart for a wedding present. Lasted over 25 years, then the bowl cracked and we couldn't find a replacement. (They changed the safety interlock.) We got the new version, still can use most of our old accessories. www.cuisinart.com/products/food_processors /dlc-8s.html On sale for $99 at Macy's from time to time, that's what we paid.

Hi all! I am on the hunt for a decent food processor. I would like for it to also chop and shred, but do not need the dough option as I don't really eat stuff like that. I would like to get the best one for the job at a decent price. Any suggestions?
