I like getting the "dried soup" packages. Right now I have the Market Classic brand, the pasta fagioli, italian wedding and southern sweet potato. These are available at World Market stores and online. I like these because they have have a "homemade" feel, when all you really need to do is add water or stock.
I hardly ever eat canned soup, though I do use it in recipes sometimes, but if I do I like plain old Campbells Tomato soup made with skim milk. I float a tiny bit of butter in it and have a cracker or two.
Not the healthiest, for sure, but very comforting, probably because it reminds me of my childhood, and, I like it. I usually only eat half at a setting.

Happy Planet makes some nice soups. Their Indian Split Pea version has 200 calories per cup, but also 10 grams of protein. Two cups of their Moroccan Chickpea version would have 240 calories and 10 grams protein.
The soups that come in the plastic tubs in grocery stores (like Harry's brand) are really tasty, but some of them can be high in calories so check the nutrition label. But they are very very good. If you want to save money but still get a good soup, I like Progresso. Their chicken pearl pasta soup is yummy, also like the Light Chicken and Cheese Enchilada and Light Clam Chowder.

I like the Progresso Healthy Classics soups when I'm too sick to bother cooking etc. They're a little high in sodium but if I watch whatever else I eat all day, really not that bad. Best part is you don't have to add water or anything-- just open the can and dump it into whatever you're using, to heat it up.
Edited to add: they're readily available just about anywhere, and they're not expensive.
