You can use the meal plans and make substitutions based on your food supply. Try to stay within the same food grouping. For example if you do not have apples, you could substitute pineapple.

Or, you can make up your own meal plans based on food availability in your area.

I make my own diet and keep in line with the recommended intake of carbs, fat, protein and calories. You don't need the Spark diet to succeed but it is important to log everything you eat.

Hello there. I too had an issue with having access to a lot of the ingredients listed for the meals, so I instead decided to figure things out for my self. It was a lot of trial and error at first, but I found things that I liked.

Starting Weight - 238
Current Weight - 188
1st goal - 185
2nd goal - 180
3rd goal - 175
4th goal - 170


Starting BMI - 42.2
Current BMI - 33.1
Goal BMI - 24.9


 Pounds lost: 51.6

I like the info provided on SP but I great difficulty getting a number of the items recommended for meals in Barbados. Not sure the best meal plan since I cannot use the SP recommendations for the most part.
