I separated the fitness tracker from my nutrition though I can still look it up on my start, report screens. It was recommending 1650- 2000 cal/ day which even with exercise was keeping me at maintenance rather than weight loss. I am rather sedentary. I edited it down to 1200- 1550, usually eat around 1400 and now I lose about 1 pound per week. You have to find that sweet spot for weight loss, then adjust the tracker. Try dropping 200-300 cal/ day eaten from your recommendation for a week until you start seeing a drop in the scale then eat at that level aLong with exercise, but keep the fitness calories separate till you see what works.
Just don't get frustrated and know that healthy eating, exercise is great even with slow weight loss...after all, we didn't get in this mess overnight!
