Coach, Becky...I never once thought about using a children's version. Mostly I think I eat well and have few things that I need (hence the "too much of some things" when I take it and "not enough of others" when I don't). I'll check that out. I've read this article in the past and it is quite good. Thanks for reminding us about it. emoticon

Here is our SP article on the pros and cons on using a multivitamin-mineral supplement; with some usage and selection guidelines.

Many people (who are eating fairly well) do fine just using the supplement several times a week, or selecting a children's version.

Unfortunately, most food labels don't reflect all the vitamins in a food, but I believe if you eat healthy, 6 to 8 fruit/veggies per day, you are likely getting most of what we need. Occasionally, when I log a new food, I search Nutrition sites like USDA for the full story so I can include it in my favorites

I take a women's multivitamin. I figure it can't hurt.

I do, but thinking about stopping. I log it into my food tracker. With the MV, I'm over on lots of vitamins. Without it, I'm under. Go figure! No good answer from me, I'm afraid. Good luck!

Wondering how many of you take a daily multivitamin? Trying to decide if it would be beneficial.
