That does seem a bit on the high side. As a recovering caffeine addict, I know how hard it can be to cut back. If you want to start reducing the amount of caffeine you're taking in, I would suggest to do it gradually. Quickly eliminating caffeine can result in nagging headaches and moodiness. Maybe just cut back to 24oz. of iced tea at first. When you feel like you're comfortable with that, try cutting down another cup to 16oz., then 8oz., etc.
Once you really have it under control, give decaf a try...it's not for everyone but I've found that it's more the thought of the cup of coffee in the morning that gets me going. Also, decaf still has a minimal amount of caffeine that can help give you that kick in the a.m.
