yes I notice this too but when I have entered my own recipe It's sometimes hard to figure out what the proper portion should be.

I usually enter a portion size in the title then use one serving from the drop down menue. However I have noticed that many poeple enter in food and leave me confused as to what the porion is. I suppose all we can do is just keep trying to make it better.

Never discourage anyone who makes continual progress, no matter how slow.

I second it, though the site doesn't have much say over how ppl enter things they create.
It would probably help to be able to enter something other than the pull-down options;
write whatever you want.... like 3 cookies instead of 1 serving; which most have to say now in the title itself or not at all

I've notice quite a few recipes that will tell you many serving; but doesn't say how many each portion is. 3/4 of cup or maybe 1 1/2 cups. It would make it easier if people would put the amount per serving is..
