Are you a man or a woman? That amount is pretty high for a woman trying to lose weight (although Becky makes a good point that since you're already at a healthy weight, losing more might not be helpful.) Check your settings to make sure that your gender is correct, your weight is in pounds and not kilos, and your goal date is right. (If your goal date is set way far in the future, the computer gives you almost a maintenance range.) Also make sure you're not overestimating your workouts. If you feel like your calorie range is too high, you might want to count your strength training as minutes, but not enter them in the calorie counter.

As for your health, the reason you have a calorie minimum is to make sure you get enough nutrients to stay healthy. It's not the calories that matter so much as the nutrients you "buy" with those calories. Pay attention to whether you're getting enough protein, fiber, calcium, iron, and so on. If you're able to meet all of your nutritional targets with a lower number of calories, that's probably all right, but it's important to make sure that you're not shorting yourself on nutrition, especially when you're at a healthy weight and losing pounds doesn't have a health advantage.

Thank you for sharing more information.
Based on your height and weight, you are already at a health Body Mass Index (BMI).
Perhaps you should be focusing on toning, rather than weight loss.
Do you know your percentage body fat??
Can you share more about your plan.

I see that your calorie range is 1884-2234;
I know you are having a difficult time eating within the range. What is your typical daily intake of calories?

It has been my experience that it does not work well to go under your minimum calorie guidelines for an extended period of time. Your body needs to be fueled properly in order to maintain energy. Going under your minimum calorie guidelines may set your body into starvation mode where it hangs onto the fat to protect itself. It may also leave you with less energy with the possibility of burning out and you giving up. To take it off and keep it off feed your body plenty of nourishing foods throughout your day in appropriate portions.

Bless the Lord O my soul!
