I don't wake up feeling hungry immediately. But i get hungry within an hour, hour-and-a-half.
I don't often go to bed hungry. I eat enough in the day that I really shouldn't feel an extreme sense of physical hunger... any feelings like "i want to eat" that occur in the evenings are more out of habit, boredom, exposure to eating-trigger, etc. but I'm not really "hungry." I can think of a couple of instances where I really was legitimately hungry at bedtime, though... in only one case did it bother me enough that I had to get back out of bed and eat something - but it didn't take much. Just a thin piece of toast with a smear of pb, 150 calories or less, and I was fine.
Heh, in days gone by, it was my habit to "feel hungry, so, eat some cold cereal before bed." I could eat 2 or 3 heaping bowls, plus all that milk! Easily! It's amazing how much cereal a person can consume before the "full feelings" start hitting the brain. I am quite glad to have dropped that habit.
