I love Kombucha and make my own all the time - it's very easy to make and will save you a ton of money over buying it. I gave up soda several years ago, but did miss drinking something fizzy now and then - Kombuch fit the bill! There are step-by-step instructions on how to make it at www.wholelifestylenutrition.com. You want to make sure when you make it that you use organic sugar and organic tea - if you're concerned about the sugar in the finished product, don't be; the sugar is used up during the fermentation process.

I agree that it's pricey. I may try to make it but we'll see. I have to figure out if it's enough of a savings to bother with the mess.

I love it, but I am torn because I think it's overpriced AND I am a little iffy about making it myself to offset some of that cost.

I've lost the weight- and kept it off- using Spark in the past. Lost my nutrition and fitness groove after a car accident and re-gained... but not for long!

If so, what did you think?

I tried it for the first time the other day and loved it! If you don't know what it is, it's a fermented tea drink with probiotics. It tastes a little vinegary and is a tad carbonated due to the fermentation process. I liked it. My husband didn't, which means I don't have to share! emoticon
