Yes, "cream cheese" is the Philly sort. Most stores carry their own brand, also. The whipped version is easier to spread and use from the container... but you can save a nickel by softening it up and whipping it yourself. You can also add yummy flavorings to it when you do! Just don't buy that low/no/reduced fat stuff. When they remove the fat, generally they add other stuff that's far worse (and the fat in cream cheese is the good sort to begin with).
I also love the Laughing Cow wedges. They make delicious finger-snacks, and I soften them up to add to meat roll-ups too. Good lunch take-alongs!
