It is very normal for weight to fluctuate, easily 5-7 pounds.
First, are you weighing at the same time of day with the same amount of clothes on or off? If not, start doing it at the same time.
How often are you weighing? Weighing daily can be VERY discouraging.
Are you on any meds that could cause your weight to fluctuate. Lots of meds are known for doing so.
Are you drinking all you water each day?
What about sodium? Eating something high in sodium can DEFINITELY put some weight on temporarily, as can sugar.
Lastly, look at OTHER things that you are successful at ... namely, what's going RIGHT, rather than what you think is going wrong. I always tell myself that I did not become overweight overnight. So ... why should I expect to lose it quickly.
It takes time and patience. You CAN do this. You are NOT alone in this up and down struggle.
