I drink soda on rare occasions. I am getting the flylady water bottle to help me reach my water goals every day...

I finally quit soda after 40 years of about 48 oz per day. I understand now about the health issues. Because of my weight, I need to drink about 120 oz of water per day. I use a 20 oz cup and 6 small beads to keep track. I move the beads from one shot glass to another as I fill and refill my cup. When all of the bead are in the other glass I post it on SparkPeople and do a litt woo hoo dance!

I have been staying away from soda and drinking more water. I don't like coffee, and I will have juice every once in a while.

I don't care for sodas either, Thank Goodness. I drink a lot of ice water and enjoy it. My one daily sin is a cup (or two) of Starbucks coffee that I brew at home to save money. I always measure out a Tbsp of half and half into it. No sugar or sweetener. I don't care how long it takes to reach my weight goal - my coffee is my AAAAAHH moment!

Fortunately I have never been a fan of soda! If I get tired of water, I sometimes drink sparkling water. I also like the zero-calorie Sobe drinks, and I have two or three cups of tea per day - either decaf green or herbal - with artificial sweetener. And I've been making smoothies for my dinner a lot - fresh and frozen fruit, Greek yogurt, water, and sweetener. Yum! Each one is a little different depending on what's around.
