The old standbys when I had tonsillitis included: soft boiled eggs; cottage cheese;bananas yogurt...and my favorite was eggnog made with skim milk! I also used to get my favorite soup: cream of mushroom, although we did it cold since The cold foods all feel good....
They didn't have frozen low sugar yogurts back then...but that might be a decent choice as well. You might try mashing up bananas and partially freezing them into a pudding consistency as well. Tapioca made with Splenda would work (if you eat Splenda...)
