Lol guys. Thanks for answering!

I ended up eating some crackers and tracking everything. Like DRAGONCHILDE said, I just made a note on my tracker that I got sick. Thanks for the advice.

:)

I do feel better today. It must have just been a 24 hour thing.

Track it. Then try to eat some toast, saltine crackers, or drink some ginger ale.

I had a stomach flu thing back about a month ago, and my tracker was suddenly filled with entries of...

Toast
Ginger ale

Toast
Ginger ale

Saltines
Ginger ale

It was silly...but I got through it. Oh! And be sure to drink lots of water!

and here's my weird, gross answer.
if i can easily identify what it was, i won't track it. whatever little bit actually got digested probably got used up getting it back up.
if it's been in my stomach long enough to be unrecognizable, i'd leave it tracked as it was.

as far as eating again, start with water. can you hold water down? can you hold water down for an hour? if so, then move on to something small and plain [toast, rice, baked potato, crackers] and see if you can hold that down. if you can, ease yourself into your regular foods. if you aren't able to hold down those things, wait until you can.

-google first. ask questions later.

as said, tracking is not 100% accurate; it's more a guideline.
go ahead and track it if you wish.
If not; don't lose sleep over it.

I hope your health improves.

The worst possible scenario is that your calorie differential will be inaccurate for the day, whether you track or not. It's not 100% precise anyway, ever, so that's not out of the norm anyway.

I'd track it, personally, but that's just me. You're not going to get an accurate number either way so it's up to you and isn't going to make a difference regardless.

I think if you're not hungry then don't eat. No need to force it if it'll make you uncomfortable. One day of wacky eating isn't going to throw everything off. Your body will let you know when it needs something.

If you want to eat something, I would have some tea and toast or some crackers but nothing heavy.

I would still track it just like I ate it -

1) I would. there's no way to know what was digested and what wasn't. Make a note in your tracker that you got sick

2) Yes! If you can stomach it, eat. There's no reason not to eat. I would even aim for maintenance calories instead of weight loss calories since you're not feeling well. If you're not able to do so without getting sick, stay focused on staying hydrated, and worry about it tomorrow.

Ok...let me start this off by saying I DO NOT HAVE AN EATING DISORDER. I think I just have a 24 hour stomach thing starting up. Yikes.

So, this is going to be a really weird question, but I don't know what to do. I cooked dinner, sat down, ate dinner with my 2 year old, and right as I swallowed my last bite...I got *that* feeling. The feeling that you're going to throw up. I ran, threw up, and have been relatively fine ever since. I still feel ok. I'm not hungry AT ALL...just really thirsty. This was hours ago.

Two questions:
1) Do I track any of the food that I ate before I got sick?
2) Should I try to eat again? We ate dinner at 6 pm (it's 9:04 pm now) and I hadn't eaten since around 11:30 AM.

Sorry for asking. I just didn't know where else to ask. Lol
