Hi, I am not eating according to the meal plan but would like to put down what I am consuming. I don't see how to do that. I am currently only eating fruits, veggies, beans, and nuts/seeds. That means no flour, salt, sugar, caffeine, or animal products. I have taken different recipes and for some put my own twist to it. Any suggestions? Thank you, Cindy

Plan is giving you the option of picking which you prefer. Instant oatmeal is a starter for some members who don't eat it and will do better just adding water and going. Other members use quick cook while still others prefer more whole grain versions and go with steel cut. As the portion states, .75 cup, cooked so that means post-cooked. Hope that helps.

I had a question about the meal plan. One of my foods for breakfast this morning is listed as "Instant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, cooked with water, 0.75 cup, cooked".

So - is that instant, quick, or regular? Those are 3 different types of oatmeal. And is the .75 cup pre-cooked or post-cooked?

Some members use it as a portion control guide and then substitute different fruits or veggies based on what they like. Others use it for planning so they don't have to. Try it for a week or two and see how it works best for you.

I just re-discovered the SP "Meal Plan" feature (I forgot all about it). This is super convenient because it eliminates inputing food myself, and I can shop from today's list! Do people who are also using this feature have any tips on how it works? I'm completely clueless except for turning the feature "on" and "off." emoticon emoticon emoticon
