I sweat a lot more, and actually have to worry about dehydration when it is hot. What usually leads to bloat is when we try to rapidly replenish the water we lost, and drink extra. We aren't retaining water, we are drinking a lot more of it, because we wait till we are thirsty to start replacing lost fluids.
I try to drink a glass every 60-90 minutes, and keep from ever feeling thirsty, that way I am not walking around with 3 glasses of water sloshing around, especially when I am about to weigh in.
