I find that if I replace one meal a day with something as minimal as this, I am overly hungry at the next meal, and have found myself overeating as a result.

Just another consideration ...

I just found a new recipe for blending a green smoothie:
1-2 T nuts/seeds (I'm going to try chia seeds)
1c. Fruit (pineapple, mango, etc)
2-3 c. greens (spinach, kale etc)
1 c. liquid (almond milk, etc)
1 c. ice

Consider blending rather than juicing - that way you consume the fibre and other good bits that can be wasted through juicing...

Nutrients you will get plenty of; what you'll be lacking is protein...so consider adding a scoop of protein powder to boost your intake if necessary...otherwise, add nuts and seeds for a healthier alternative (keeping in mind calories will be higher due to fat content, and protein contribution lower).

Will replacing one meal a day with fresh vegetable or fruit juice help with weight loss and still provide all the necessary nutrients? Also how can I use the fibre left over from juicing? emoticon
