How many people are in this range?
* I started in this range but didn't find it to work well for myself. I changed my goal from 1750-2100, high I know, but right now it's working for me.

How many pounds are you supposed to lose every week to reach your goal?
* I'm aiming for 1-2 pounds each week, and so far (week 2) I'm at 3 pounds down.

How tall are you?
* 5'10

My range is a little higher than that, 1,330-1,680, because my weight loss goals are fairly minimal but my exercise level is a bit higher than it used to be. I currently have my goals set to lose 1lb per week and I work out for at least half an hour per day, 6 days a week. I'm losing a little faster than anticipated so I'm doing the juggling act of figuring out if I need to eat a bit more or just work with the accelerated loss, but I don't want to lose too much muscle so it's a bit of a judgement call. I'm 5'3" or a hair under.

You're likely to find a *lot* of people in the 1200-1550 range, because it's the lowest range promoted by SP.

That's my range because if i go any higher I dont lose weight. I'm 58 so losing is a little harder for me.

Inspiration for today!! "The only weight you carry is the weight you can't let go of. This goes for mental, spiritual and physical weight.

The past is OVER! There is no use keeping it alive in your mind. You are not doing your present self any good by holding on to and wallowing in the past. What happened, happened.

That has been my range most weeks. Occasionally, it will be slightly higher.

I am 5'2". I have lost a little over 60 pounds and have 60-70 left to go. I think that my current goal is set for about 1.5 pounds a week. I think that I listed less exercise than I generally tend to do, but it's not set for sedentary.

I'm thinking of setting up a new account and linking my Fitbit to it to see what ranges I get with the new fitness tracking method. I don't currently have my Fitbit linked on this account.

Mine is a bit lower due to my height. I am 4'11 and more than 40% body fat, so for weight loss my range is from 1100 to 1225.

I'm a little higher - 1260-1610-ish if I remember right. I have exercise goals and meet them weekly. I'm 5'6" tall and I don't lose 2lbs a week on that range, but I have my goal set at 2lbs a week.

Does height play a role in weight loss and calories? I admit I haven't been reading a lot about that, but I thought it was just weight.

That is my range also. I am 5'0" and set it up as "sedentary" since I'm not working for the summer. However, now that I'm working out each day I don't know if I should change it or just let my tracker adjust for my calories burned. I don't remember how many pounds I set it to lose a week.

That is my range. I am a 5' 5'' woman. When I set up my spark program, I set my goal to lose 2 lbs per week. I lose between 1 to 2 lbs per week with this range.

That's my range on SP.

I'm 5' 7" and about 200lbs. I actually find that range incredibly difficult and definitely the lower end... especially on days when I exercise, but obviously I eat a little more on those days.

Mine's actually 1260-1610. Which is strange because ever since I hit 140 lbs or so it's been 1200-1550. I recently switched from maintenance to weight loss again after gaining some weight so it must have to do with my goal date update. I think I set it to 1 lb/week. But there's going to be a lot of other factors that affect a person's calorie range; age, gender, (height), weight, exercise calories burned, (goal date).

I'm 5'2.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. If you don't want to get bulky, lift heavy!

I can bench Nicole Richie, eat more than she does in a day before noon, I have a good 20 lbs on her but could still wear her pants.

That's my range.
I believe it's the minimum for females.

I'm 5'2"
I believe the average expected weight loss is about a pound per week; but I suspect also it depends on where you begin (how much you have to lose).

As I'm pretty close to my goal; I don't lose at that rate any longer, but that's OK. It's training for maintenance.

Also, I'm considerably older than you, which is a determining factor, as well.
