I like the answer - what do you do on day 8.

I prefer a menu that I can stick with - not some quick fix odd combination of stuff that's the "latest and greatest" weight loss scheme.

Just my opinion. You're welcome to do whatever you wish, obviously.

If this was healthy, you could eat it for the next 20 years. You may see results in 7 days, but what happens on day 8? You resume eating your regular diet, and gain back some weight. Hopefully, not all of it, but then you have to start another diet also. It sounds great to lose quickly.. almost miraculous, but it isn't sustainable.

Is there any reason you want to do this diet in particular, and why only 7 days?

Not knowing what you intend to eat with a "Buckwheat and Kefir" diet, it is impossible to answer really!! ONLY Buckwheat and Kefir??? It matters far more HOW MANY CALORIES you are consuming......!!

I think you will be far better to watch your nutritional intake--be sure to get an appropriate amount of Carb, Fat and Protein--in a reasonable amount of calories (1200-1600). Your body needs a good mix of nutrients to build up your muscles and cardio capacity from the jogging at the same time you are trying to drop any weight.....

And if its only buckwheat and kefir, I also suspect that your digestive track will give you fits between the fiber, the probiotics.....(not pleasant!!)

Why are you always in such a hurry to try something / anything that smacks of a fad diet to lose some weight??? Last week you were fasting one day a week if I recall right to "clean your organism"..... I have yet to see that you Track your foods watching your calories, and nutrient ratios.

You are 18, your body is still growing into itself....and your real goal should be a sustainable healthy fully nutritious intake of good foods!! You are what you eat!!

Hi,
I am sure you would see some results as long as the diet provides you with a substantial calorie deficit. But I am concerned it would be very boring eating that way. And you would probably not get all the nutrients your body needs from such a restrictive diet, but then, if it is only for 7 days you would not be able to do too much harm..

Edited to add; In my honest opinion I do not see any good reasons to eat only buckwheat and kefir for one week other than if it is the only ting you have in your house, and you are flat broke until next week. So, I guess I am curious as to why? Why just kefir and buckwheat?

if your ticker is accurate and you're only looking at losing 30-40lbs the sort of changes that you need to be making for the long haul aren't the sort of changes that show any sort of results in a week. and if you do see results, you should be looking in the under 1/2lb per week range. but it's common to not see results for up to six weeks, especially if you're changing both diet and exercise and you're starting at or really close to a healthy weight [which you are according to your ticker].

Hello everybody,

Do you think if I would go on a 7 days buckwheat and kefir diet, and at the same time do jogging for 40 minutes a day, I would see results in a week? Any other related opinions and advises are very appreciated. Thank You :)
