Of course it will! ALL mindful thinking and awareness of what we choose to eat helps us "reconfigure" our not-so-good habits!!
Have you turned on the "menu option" in Spark for suggestions? I don't use mine regularly, but occasionally turn it on and take a peak for some better ideas...! I also use the Tracker to put meals into in advance just to get an idea of portions and maybe add in more protein, etc. to balance what I am eating. You can remove and/or edit anything you enter to it ahead of time. Its really a great tool to learn from!
Be sure to plan in some favorite foods, and some well balanced Carb/fat/protein snacks to keep you on track....
