Like others said, Sparkrecipes is awesome for that. Enter the whole recipe and how many servings and voila! Accurate nutritional information. :-)

I adore sparkrecipes for that purpose! Once you've added a recipe to your tracker, it stays in your "favorites" category on the tracker.

if you accurately enter in all of the ingredients, then you will have the calories for the whole pot. then there are two ways you divide this out to what you're eating at a meal.
1. pick a container to weigh the total yield in. so if your crockpot has an insert that you can take out, weigh it before you put anything in and note the weight. then weigh it again with the fully cooked recipe. subtract the weight of the pot and you have the total weight of your recipe. so if your chicken made 500 grams, you might decide that's 10 50 gram portions. so when you serve yourself, serve out a 50 gram portion. if you find yourself with a 75 gram portion, remember to enter that in as 1.5 servings.
2. when the recipe is done, serve the whole pot into equal portion containers. so instead of dishing directly onto your plate you would serve everything into 1 or 2 cup containers and then count up how many cups it made. enter that as your serving and stick to the portioned cup serving [or two or however many you decide are appropriate].

Groupings work great.

If you are making a recipe, and want the system to calculate the calories per serving for you to use over and over, you can put a recipe into your "recipe box" in sparkrecipes area (link below). You can add this food in your nutrition tracker by using the "recipes" tab.

I use the Groupings tab a lot when I'm cooking from scratch. I list all the ingredients that I used and then when I add it to my tracker I divide it by the number of servings it made. For instance if the recipe made 8 servings I add .125 of a serving to my tracker for that meal. This is especially handy for meals I cook often.

Hi...
I hope someone can help me. I'm beginning to use my crock pot MORE...Love that I can through in frozen chicken ,and when I get off work its DONE ! emoticon
My question is...

When I make something like BBQ pulled chicken how do I track that as close as possible in my food tracker?(trying to be as accurate as possible)
I know I have to track the sauces separate... Its just that me, and my little boy eat it. So its not just me.
Is there an easy way to figure it out without having to cook our food separate?

Any advice would be helpful. emoticon
