I absolutely agree about those with the "holier-than-thou" attitudes --- especially the ones that don't have the knowledge to back it up.
That's why I'm so grateful for those who post on these boards who so obviously have researched their choices, share the knowledge when asked, but never do the "this is the ONLY way for everyone". I've learned so much about raw vegan, and low-carb, and moderate-carb, and high-carb, and paleo, and all of the other catch-phrases from the posters who share their knowledge without any attitude. I'm a basically middle-of-the-road omnivore, but have used lots of tips and tricks from these posters to make my nutrition more complete and tastier!
Really, these posters are the ones who "make" the boards for me, and make it easy for me to ignore the others.

Afraid of a colonoscopy? Believe me - they are much less frightening than surgery and chemotherapy.
Colonoscopies allow polyps to be removed before they can become cancer, or let cancers be found before they are too widespread. If you are 50 or older, or have any symptoms, please don't let fear stop you from covering your butt.
