I've blogged about this before. I've always had issues with weight and the nickname given to me in 6th grade, "Danny DeVito" (because, as I was told, I'm "short, fat, & ugly"), has resonated in my head. I like to eat. Unfortunately, being 4'11" means that my weight stays in my mid section and whatever I gain looks like double or triple on me. I've learned that I do better when meal planning. Pinterest has helped me with this. I have a weekly menu board. I add to it and delete what I don't want. This way I can keep going and stay on track. It seems to be helping because my cravings are less and I've lost a tiny bit of weight along with 1/2 an inch everywhere.
Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.
