Apparently, it isn't at all reliable and produces very different results when duplicate samples are tested side by side. As my chemistry teacher used to say, "If it isn't reproduceable, it isn't science."
As for me, I'm immediately suspicious of any thing medical that isn't supported by peer-reviewed research. With what I've read, I'm floored that your insurance covers it.
