I have a 24 oz water bottle that goes with me wherever I go. I've just started adding cucumber to it, in order to stop the soda i've been having with meals. I make sure to refill it at least 3x a day at work, and then drink when I'm thirsty once I'm home.

I drink when I'm thirsty and I have a beverage with my meals.

It's a myth that most of us are running around dehydrated because we don't drink enough water. Humans have a well-evolved thirst mechanism and, for the majority of us, if we drink when we are thirsty, we are getting enough water. Most of us really don't need to think much about it.

It's also a myth that everyone needs 8 cups of water a day. How much water you need depends on a variety of factors (e.g. your activity level, the weather, how much liquid is in the rest of your food, etc.). In addition to water that you get from the beverages that you drink, you also get water from your food.

So long as you drink when you are thirsty and your urine is a light yellow, you are getting enough water.

Every morning I start my day with a 17 ox. bottle of flavored water. Because it's flavored and I wake up at 4 in the morning, it goes quickly. When I drink it, I refill it with plain water and keep drinking and refilling throughout the day until I reached my goal of 64 oz. And then I keep drinking water.

I freeze five 20 oz. bottles, and then I drink them as they melt. That way the water is cold, and I am just slowly sipping it throughout the day.

When I'm thirsty, I take a drink. That's ALL that's ever necessary. (Drinking just to meet an arbitrary quota like 8 glasses a day is nonsense.)

I carry around a blue Nalgene bottle (32 oz) and make sure to go through it twice a day.

I "front load" my water intake by having at least four glasses of water before I leave the house at 7:30! Makes it easy to get to 10 glasses over the rest of the day.

I fill up a large water bottle and drink throughout the day. If I try to drink at least 8 oz an hour, that's more than enough water.

If going to be a very busy day I keep track by keeping a 20 oz water bottle with at all times and making sure I have at least 4 a day!
