Interesting as I also recently bought one at kohl s and use it almost every day. I consider it an valuable addition to my changed eating habits.

I was hesitant at fist mixing vegetables with fruit but pleasantly surprised finding combination of two often taste better than either fruit or vegetable only. I found you can't go wrong starting out with carrot & apple, adding other vegetables or fruit from there. Carrot, apple, kale, spinach, celery, berries, banana, pear all work well together. Oranges and kiwi fruit overpower flavor too much. I like to use fresh vegetables with frozen fruit best as I can get by with less liquid for thicker shakes. I like to use unsweetened almond milk, coconut water, milk, or water depending on the blend. Sometimes adding crushed ice instead of water. Adding chia seeds thickens up mix after it sits a while and is very filling since it expands 16 fold in your stomach.

I just got a Ninja Kitchen System pulse, which comes with three individual cups as well as a larger one and other paddles/blades you can use for food processing, making dough whatever. Since I didn't have one, I bought it because of the food processor utility and that it was about $65 online at Walmart as opposed to the $100 the Nutribullet was everywhere else (and I read some reviews about the Nutribullet leaking weird fluid). It has a little more power and blends everything quite smoothly. I even did a whole apple, some cucumber and kale and it was smooth and delicious. It also takes a lot less time than the blender I was using both in blending and in cleaning.

I put a half to a full cup of greens into each of my smoothies and with frozen berries and maybe a little piece of banana, I can't taste them.

I shall stay the way I am because I do not give a damn.

This has been a great investment for my nutrition. I am getting so much more variety into my diet. As far as taste...swiss chard and mustard greens are pretty tough to cover up...but a banana really helps to cover the taste of the greens. I purchased this product due to digestive issues...breaking down the veggies in the bullet helps the body to absorb the vitamins and minerals much more easily. It's working great increased energy, mood, and less joint pain. I'm a fan..can you tell? :)

Was thinking that I should look and invest in a Nutri Bullet. I think my kids would love it too! I was going to use my food processor that I love but it's not easy to use or clean.

I keep my Nutribullet on my counter. I switch between spinach or kale with frozen berries and 1/2 frozen banana with flax seeds. My Nutribullet came with a recipe book so I like to try new recipes. I don't taste the greens at all. I have one in the morning before heading to work. I love it!

I am going to be honest with you. The thought of putting spinach or anything like that in there with fruit terrifies me. I am really going to have to muster up some courage to do it lol.

Seriously. Can you really not taste the spinach? I would hate to vomit on my first taste emoticon

BUUKWORM14, Nutribullet doesn't blend frozen fruit, ice, or fresh greens smoothly. I'd look into getting an OmniBlend (~$260) or refurbished Vitamix (~$330) if you want something powerful.

I'm really enjoying it, too. It's been an easy way to start my day with a few servings of fruits and veggies even if I only have a few minutes. And clean-up could not be any easier. I think I love that part the most.

I use a juicer too and that thing is a pain to clean and some days I dread having to get it out, but the NutriBullet just makes my life so much easier. I keep it on the counter and use it at least once a day. I, too, have eaten far more kale and spinach since purchasing it a few months ago.

One day I hope to own a VitaMix, but even then, I think I'd still reach for the NutriBullet 9 times out of 10 just for it's ease of use. More things in life need to be that easy! :)

I just ordered the Nutri Bullet. I had a Magic Bullet but the rubber ring somehow got loose and the blades tore it.

One more positive, at risk of sounding too much like a commercial for this! It is so easy to clean! Big plus for me.

Absolutely LOVE my NutriBullet- got it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond with the 20% coupon.

I use it to make protein shakes, smoothies (add spinach to everything- you can't taste it), grating cheese, and even grinding my coffee beans.

It does take awhile to grind up ice, but just turn the lid and let it go!

My kids love it to for making ice cream smoothies.

Anything you can VitaMix, you can NutriBullet!

There is a book included with some recipes and a plan for how to implement it into a diet. The basics are this: take a green leafy vegetable (spinach and kale are the top 2, it seems), and ill up half of the bullet. Then, take fruits and/or vegetables of your choice to fill it up to the "max line". Then, add something like sesame seed or similar item to add some fiber. Add water, then blast it.

Seems like everything is based on those 3 steps. Today, I have a kale, banana, watermelon, and grape "Blast" ready for lunch.

I think there is a recipe book available too, and there is a web site with very detailed recipes that are designed for specific purposes: anti-inflammatory, immune system, digestion, hormone balance, etc. I have not tried them, but may study those a bit more to add to the arsenal over time.

i am pleased, and like that I got it at Kohl's with my wife's 30% off coupon!

I've been considering one but wasn't sure about how good it was. I like that it has a small foot print. All my friends are obsessed with the vitamix, but I can't afford a $500 blender plus there's no room for that massive thing in my tiny kitchen.

Do you just make snack smoothies, or do you make meals as well? Have you used it for anything but fruits and veg?

Hi Eric, I was watching an infomercial on the Nutribullet yesterday, and I thought it looks really neat. Did it come with a recipe book? I have the Jack Lalane's juicer and I am not happy with it, there is too much waste. Hope you continue to enjoy your Nutribullet.

NutriBullet- liking it!

Bought one recently. I am basically using the NutriBlasts as a snack replacement- I'd probably be eating similar foods, or straying from plan and eating junk, at the time my "Blast" is ready for me, so I am feeling pretty confident that it is better than how I was eating.

Plus, I probably wouldn't eat as much spinach or kale, so I am taking in some different types of food and packing in the vitamins in the process. I am pretty good at handling various tastes, but the kale really blends in with some fruits like blueberries, so the fruity taste prevails.

Very interesting product- I feel pretty good about it!

Anyone else using it? Any suggestions as to combinations that are healthy and taste good?
