Thank you every one! My burn is healing incredibly well! The doctor visit went amazing! I did ask my doctor about nutritional needs and everything and got some great advice!
For exercise, the doctor said that I can start running/working out again by Memorial Day weekend! Taking it slow and just doing the minimum of what I am capable of. Just taking it extra slow, make sure I bring water with me, and to use more elliptical machines to start out.
She said most of what you all posted about, which was just if I want to lose weight, do the portion control. And cutting out excess sugar (from ice cream, sodas, etc.) wont slow down the burns healing or anything. Keep eating lean proteins, good fats, low calories (I gave her my calorie range from sparkpeople and she said it should be fine but to double check again when I visit her Memorial Weekend again before I go to my Internship.) Thank you everyone!
If you guys have any other advice on tips for portion control when I do my internship, that is what I am really interested in! Since I know now that I can do some basic work outs!
