Fresh but frozen works well also for some fruits -- berries and peaches.

Whether I think I can or I think I can't, I am right.

I do mostly fresh and some frozen. I am getting a little more in to canned in juice or light syrup because frozen and canned keep longer. Plus, I live in Minnesota and utilizing non fresh varieties i the cupboard helps me keep the variety in my diet.

I don't really care for canned fruit. Usually because it is a pain to open and store leftovers. lazy? maybe. Just that extra step deters me.

I do love the Dole in the plastic jars in fruit juice (yes plastic. I know. I know. emoticon ) I dont care for the fruit juice and usually drain and sometimes even rinse the fruit. I like that I can easily store the leftovers. I love the fruit cups, as well.

I eat a lot of frozen fruit. Late at night when I want a snack, I eat a bowl of frozen fruit- cherries, pineapple, melon, peaches, strawberries, et c. Unbelievable. Better than ice cream and impossible to over eat, because you eat them frozen.
Don't eat can anything, except for chick peas, but primarily fresh veggies and fruits.

Fresh is always better than canned. I buy fresh spinach, freeze up for smoothies, or pasta dishes. I buy bananas and cut them up then freeze. I know canned is cheaper, but I stay away from those, too much stuff in those.

I prefer fresh, but find myself eating mostly those individual fruit cups (always packed in 100% fruit juice) because they're so convenient and I can keep a package of them in my desk at work in case I get hungry :)

Oh - I love fruit! I prefer fresh, but I love any of 'em. I just have to limit myself because there's too much sugar in the types I love the best.

I did a "Bad" recently and bought a box of pears from Harry & David... and I'm having terrible difficulty in holding myself back. Luckily, there's a husband here who likes such things, too... but he's not really supposed to be having them either. He's diabetic. I'm just trying to shed pounds.

Shame on me for indiscretion! but hey, they aren't in season forever.

fresh all the way! for a couple reasons...if it's not in season, I don't believe we should be eating it (it usually doesn't taste as good anyway and if it does, then that means they are adding things to the fruit), and many canned fruits sit in a sugary mix. I'm a fan of trying to eat everything as fresh as possible, fruit being the number one thing.

fresh or frozen won't touch canned (to much blasted sugar added to them, even it says packed in water).

I prefer fresh fruit, and eat certain ones, but use frozen fruit for smoothies, etc. (in summer, I buy fresh strawberries and blueberries and freeze some of them for this purpose). But, I'm allergic to many fruits and the only way I can eat them is canned. So if I want to have peaches, for example, they have to be canned - fresh makes my throat swell up and mouth itch.

There's also some evidence that the nutrients in canned fruit are more readily accessible to the body than with fresh.

I like both. These days, I look for canned fruit in fruit juice or light syrup, not heavy. emoticon

I prefer fresh, but I keep a stash of canned fruit in my desk at work for snack emergencies. Like Candace, I make sure it is in 100% juice, not syrup.

I'm a big fan of canned pears and peaches, but I only get the kind that are in fruit juice. Like the peaches are in 100% peach and pear juice, as with the pears in their own juice. I feel weighed down if I eat fruit in any kind of syrup.
Summer time watermelon is a MUST! I can't get enough of it.

I prefer fresh, but just because the juice spikes my blood sugars. I already have to limit fruit, being a diabetic, and eating fresh allows me to do so more often.

Fresh is best, but I also like to have both canned and frozen on hand for a variety of uses.
