I've just been diagnosed with hypoglycemia. This is a whole new world of dieting for me. My biggest problem is figuring out how to LOSE weight, while having to shove food in my face every 2-3 hours.
My biggest problem is caloric intake.
How many calories can I have and still lose weight without having to stop eating?
From the time I wake up, til the time I go to bed, I have to eat something every 2 to 3 hours.
and i'm GAINING weight. during the summer before I was diagnosed, i went all the way down to 185 pounds. my lowest weight EVER! Then I started getting sick and went back up to 190; then 193, then 195. I maintained at 195 for a couple of months and then the difficulties with my blood sugar happened. I suspected it may be hypoglycemia so i started eating more often, and that caused me to gain weight. I'm now 200 pounds and i'm terrified of going up any higher. my original weight when I started with sparkpeople was 232 pounds. before I joined sparkpeople I was 250. I'm TERRIFIED of gaining it all back, and my new medical condition is only going to make things harder.
PLEASE, HELP ME!
I need to know how to regulate my intake, still have low calories and be able to keep my blood sugar up without gaining weight!
(exercise is a problem too as I can't exercise more than half an hour a day. before this medical problem began I was working out for to 2 to 4 hours a day! and I was seeing results! now i can't work out for more than half an hour and i'm gaining weight).
Any suggestions or information you have is greatly appreciated!
