I pop mine on the stove and usually give it a light mist of olive oil before adding seasonings... i like garlic powder & black pepper, parmesan & black pepper, lemon pepper, taco seasoning, etc. the possibilities are endless! sometimes i just flavor the oil i pop the kernels in and it works well- you can definitely add some hardier herbs at that time as well- like rosemary (with lemon zest it would be awesome!).
sometimes i just use the flavored popcorn shakers, too.
