I want to thank everyone for sharing your advice and encouragement. You are helping me to get my head in the right place. Becoming a truly healthy person is so much more than a perfect number on the scale just when I want it. I need to slow down and appreciate where I am right now, which is so much better than where I was 10 weeks ago.
Some of you mentioned sleep. Sleep is one area I really need to improve on. I need to tuck in the night owl (me!) earlier each night. A rested body just makes eating right, exercising, coping with stress and just enjoying life so much better. I know it''s true, now I just need to do it..
I also need to stop comparing my present journey to a healthier lifestyle to my last attempt. I need to apply the positive things I learned the last time to the here and now, and move forward. My pattern of weight loss this time is all over the place, including 3 weeks of no loss. In the past I would have wanted to give up but with all the great help at SP, I've been able to keep on going. Thanks, SP friends, you are awesome!
