let food be thy medicine. Let medicine be thy food.
I wholeheartedly agree that good clean eating can "cure" ailments. Check out Anne Wigmore, Charles Majors, Gabriel Cousens, Jordin Ruben, David Wolfe... Changing their diets helped them in immense ways. They are now sharing their methods with others and many more people are being helped.
I don't trust Pill pushing doctors. I am sure there are some out there who are not controlled by the drug companies, but they are hard to find.
i truly believe that my body has the innate intelligence to heal itself and it doesn't need help from outside sources. I also know this opinion is not shared by the general public but I don't care.
Cleaning up my diet got me off at least three medications and that is fact. Even my doctor was astounded. Another fact-- I haven't been sick in three years-- no cold, no flu, no digestive issues. When I was eating my old diet-- I had bronchitis or pneumonia every year. I suffered greatly from allergies. My skin wasn't healthy either. My nails were brittle and my hair didn't grow healthy.
After about 5 months on my new plan-- my skin had a healthy glow, I had massive amounts of energy, I got much better sleep, and I actually craved greens.
So anyone saying that diet cannot change health is misspoken.
Is Paleo a fad diet? No its not. It has been around a very long time. It is just recently that more people are trying it.
I consider low fat, low sugar, high protein, low carb-- those are fad diets. I have known people who have been on Paleo for 30 years.
So I am more than glad for the OP.
"My plates have never been so colourful!" I too eat a rainbow every day and I have never been healthier.
