If you start using shakes, and you lose weight... what do you do when you stop drinking shakes?
The problem with shakes and such isn't that they don't work (they're a legitimate means of cutting calories to lose weight) its that they don't teach you how to handle the cause of your weight gain: overeating.Most people who do short-term diets and shakes end up gaining the weight back and then some because they never addressed the root of the problem.
Shakes don't teach you how to deal with a buffet, or a surprise plate of cookies at work, or how to negotiate a restaurant menu.
Skip the short-term fixes, and focus on building a healthy lifestyle you can keep up for a lifetime.
