I agree with the previous poster. A lack of appetite is normal from time to time, but yours sounds a little more significant than average. Your doctor can do a full check up to determine whether or not there's an underlying issue causing the problem.

Good luck!

This sounds like a medical issue for your Physician to resolve. While eating ebbs and flows with all of us from time to time, anorexia with persistent s/s is not the norm. Could be nothing more than a left over issue from the ear and sinus infection. At any rate, see your Doc this week and get over this, whatever it is, quickly. emoticon

Hi,

Has anyone else suffered with a sudden loss of appetite while dieting. I have been on this journey for a couple of years and generally have a large appetite but over the last month or so it has totally dropped off to the point where foods I love really put me off, I have to fight with myself to eat anything at all and when I do eat I seem to prefer very soft foods. I do get hungry but once I have something in front of me I feel nauseous looking at it.

I think it started with a sinus/ear infection and a 10 day course of antibiotics. Right now I am losing a pound a day and would would tips on how to slow that down!
