I find that it is so easy for me to eat nothing for a little while. There's no planning required, no guilt either. Unfortunately, it always leads to eating a lot of no-good-for-me foods.
I'm going to try this month to focus on what I can/should eat. There's so much research and many articles about what not to eat and why, but I need to think about what i CAN do these days or I get so sad and depressed.
I CAN eat all of the following and more and so, I WILL eat them. Help me make a list of what is almost universally good to eat (in moderation, of course) so I don't get so wrapped around what I shouldn't eat.
Avocados, apples, apricots, bananas, beans, broccoli, beets, brown rice, berries, bok choi, cantaloupe, catfish, carrots, celery, cauliflower, chicken breast, cabbage, cucumbers, eggplant, endive, figs, grapes, jicma, kale, lettuce, mangos, mushrooms, nectarines, okra, onion, olive oil, papaya, peas, peaches, pears, pecans, peppers, pineapples, plums, pomegranates, potatoes(but only a little), pumpkin, radish, raspberry, rutabaga, shallots, soybeans, spinach, squash, sweet potato, tomato, tofu, turnips, vinegar, waterchestnut, watercress, watermelon, yams.
