I think a big help for you would be to plan your meals in advance and stick with it.
I, like another poster, don't eat dinner until late. I usually don't eat until about 8-9pm.
Add more food during the day, whether it be yogurt, hard boiled eggs, vegetables with ranch or hummus, etc. I also stuff out the house completely to avoid eating it late at night.
When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful.
