Hey! I'm rockin' GERD, too, so I feel your pain. Literally. Haha. OK, i'll stop.
Firstly, I do think it is the adjustment in diet over a specific food upsetting your GERD. So, I'd wait it out, too, like you are doing.
That being said, I am a frequent raw veggie eater (I love mine raw, too!). Just try lots of different kinds and find which ones don't cause you trouble.
Also, someone mentioned this- are you eating too fast? I have this problem sometimes when I am hungry and distracted. This makes my GERD go crazy.
Finally, bulking up my meals makes my GERD act up. If I eat too much in one sitting, even though it may not be calorie-dense, it makes me sick. So, I can't eat my bowl of healthy soup and right away follow it up with my fruit for dessert, or I'll get so sick! I have to wait for some room, I guess.
These are just some ideas. Keep trying. GERD is annoying, but it won't stop us!
