They have quite a bit of added sugar although not much considering they're a "dessert". They also have palm oil and a ton of perservatives. Not for me.
I make black bean brownies. They're really simple and the texture is amazing. You blend black beans, unsweetened cocoa powder, olive oil, egg whites, vanilla, baking soda and a sweetner of choice (natural or sub, I use a little bit of splenda/brown sugar blend). And then bake for 25-30 mins.
Black Bean Brownies: Fiber One Brownie
100 cals 90 cals
13 carbs 18g carbs
5g fibre 5g fibre
2.5g sugar 8g sugar
4g fat (olive oil) (under 1g sat) 3g fat (1.5g sat)
4g protein 1g protein
70mg sodium 100g sodium
Then I blend a fat free cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, banana and vanilla extract "icing".
