I'm trying to learn how to manage my portions and eat less without necessarily measuring/weighing at the beginning. I thought the easiest way would be to use smaller plates for my meals and serve meals/snacks on them.
I already have a couple 8.5 inch plates that I can use for meals, and I have a couple glass bowls from Chobani Soho that would be a great size for desserts and fruit, but I need an idea of a good size plate for small snacks and desserts that are better on a plate than in a bowl (cookies, for example). I'm also wondering what a good size bowl is for serving something like pasta or a bowl of cereal.
I also plan on buying a 10 oz Tervis cup to add to my collection. I already have a 24 oz Tumbler and Water Bottle that I use daily (especially my straw tumbler that I refill constantly). I also have a 16 oz one that I use for my RARE (a few times a year) coffee drinks and hot tea. I want the 10 oz one to use for plain milk. (If I get an 8 oz cup and fill it with a cup of milk it will be filled to the very top. I want some wiggle room so I can put on the lid and at the very least WALK from the kitchen with my cup of milk.)
I'm just not sure what the suggested size for a dinner/cereal bowl and a pasta bowl would be.
