I keep most of my bottled water upstairs. I drink my water room temperature but a lot of my water I drink in the night; I take pills at night to make sure they don' t interfere with what I've eaten or other medicines I've taken and I also sometimes have to get up to use my asthma inhaler.
If you get up at night, keep a bottle of water in the bathroom and near your medcines/bed; I have to rinse my mouth after using my asthma inhalers (use maintenance inhaler morning and night) so after I do that, I drink a good swallow too, might as well, I have the water right there, easy :-) If I'm awake at night for other reasons or am a bit hungry/thirsty or too warm, etc., I first try a little more water to see if that helps me sleep.
